365telugu.com online news,Tirumal, December4th, 2021: The restoration works of the Second ghat (Up Ghat) road, side walls which have been destroyed in majority areas due to the recent unprecedented rains should be restored before December end, directed TTD Chairman YV Subba Reddy. In a review meeting with IIT experts and TTD Engineering officials in Sri Padmavathi Rest House at Tirupati on Friday, the Chairman said due to recent rain havoc, heavy boulders have fallen in the second Ghat road critically destroying the Ghat road. He sought the officials to ensure measures that the remaining part of the destroyed hillock does not fall on the ghat road.

As the devotees are forced to wait for hours together at Alipiri and Link Bus stand and in Tirumala due to movement of vehicles only through down ghat road, he also instructed the officials to allow vehicles to Tirumala through link road from Saturday onwards after a thorough inspection and initiating necessary measures. The Chairman instructed the officials to remove the hillocks which are ringing danger bells immediately by using Chemical Technology. He also said, the safety of devotees is most important and there is no need to think on expenditure in ensuring safety measures.
