365TELUGU.COM ONLINE NEWS,TIRUMALA, 28 DECEMBER 2021: Keeping in view the priority of common pilgrims, TTD has made some elaborate arrangements for Vaikunta Ekadasi Dwara Darshanam, said the Additional EO AV Dharma Reddy.Briefing the media on the arrangements made by TTD at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Tuesday, the Additional EO said, the Vaikuntha Dwara Darshanam will be provided to pilgrims for 10days from January 13 to 22.

He said TTD has already released SED, SSD, and SRIVANI, Virtual Seva tickets online for the benefit of pilgrims. The Additional EO said even the Protocol VIPs shall also be allotted darshan tickets only on self and no recommendation letters shall be entertained during all these days.He said the Slotted Sarva Darshanam tokens will be issued to Tirupati locals at five different centers as in the case of last year. In view of the scare of increasing Omicron cases, only locals will be issued on a first come first serve basis for all the ten days at the rate of 5000 tokens per day for Vaikuntha Dwara Darshanam, he added.

On the accommodation front he said, due to the renovation of nearly 1300 rooms out of 7300 rooms available in Tirumala, the devotees are requested to take accommodation in Tirupati and have darshan in Tirumala without any inconvenience.The Additional EO also stated that TTD has also stalled advance reservation of accommodation from January 11 to 14 and devotees shall be allotted rooms on current booking at Tirumala. Even the donors also will not be allotted accommodation during these days. 

Briefing on other temple programs, the Additional EO said, there will be Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam in connection with Vaikuntha Ekadasi on January 11, the procession of Golden Chariot on Vaikuntha Ekadasi day on January 13 between 9 am and 10 am in the four Mada streets. On Vaikuntha Dwadsi day on January 14, Chakra Snanam will be performed in Swami Pushkarini between 5 am and 6 am in Ekantam. 

On laddus he said, a buffer stock of five lakh laddus will be maintained every day. “Apart from this we are also sending 30thousands small laddus, 75,000 mini laddus and 500 big laddus to Chennai, 5000 small laddus and 100 big laddus to Vellore, 10thousands small laddus and 100 big laddus to Bengaluru, 10thousands small laddus to Hyderabad, 7000 small laddus to Vontimitta and Devunikadapa in YSR Kadapa district on payment basis.

He said necessary Covid measures will be taken by all the departments of TTD including Health, Medical, Kalyanakatta, Annaprasadam, and Reception areas.Required number of Srivari Sevaks also will be deployed to render services to pilgrims. TTD cops in coordination with Police will regulate traffic in Tirumala. 

The ghat roads will be put on normal functioning from January 11onwards as the up ghat road which is now under renovation will get ready by January 10 and only light weight vehicles will be allowed to ply on this Ghat road initially, he observed.

“In view of fast-spreading Omicron cases across the country, we have made two doses of vaccine report or RTPCR negative test taken 48hours before mandatory for all the devotees coming for darshan of Srivaru. The devotees are also requested to co-operate with TTD following all Covid norms of observing social distancing, wearing masks, and using sanitizers without fail”, he maintained.
