Mr. Kamath spoke on “Digital India, Digital Currencies and Economic Growth,” at the annual event held online on 20th November 2021.

On this significant occasion, Mr. Kamath highlighted how the Digital India programme played a vital role in transforming India into a digitally empowered society and a knowledge economy. He also highlighted the fact that in the past few years, digital technology has played a vital role in accelerating the pace of India’s economic growth and how institutions like NU are grooming the ‘future leaders’ who would script success stories in a world that is becoming increasingly driven by technology.  

Digital transformation was already trending when the pandemic brought technology to fore and heightened the pace of digitisation. Technology has been the cornerstone at NIIT University since its inception. Incorporation of technology with platforms such as NUgget aids in providing effective education to students even when they were confined to homes.

The Annual Lecture streamed live on NIIT University’s YouTube, Facebook and Twitter handles.
