Spread the News online news,May 4th,2023: Walking for three minutes every half hour lowers blood sugar levels. This matter came to light in a research conducted on a small group in Britain.

According to the research, which was released at the Diabetes Charity Conference, within seven hours, a three-minute walk every half hour reduced blood sugar levels in diabetes patients. The study was conducted on a total of 32 patients.

Diabetes UK says this ‘activity’ can lead to behavior change without the cost of any snacks. According to an estimate, around four million people in Britain suffer from type-1 diabetes.

When the body’s immune system attacks the insulin-producing cells of the pancreas, the pancreas does not produce insulin in this condition. This increases type 1 diabetes in the body.

Insulin controls blood sugar levels. Lack of insulin causes blood sugar levels to rise. Diabetics should take artificial insulin at regular intervals to avoid this condition.

If the blood sugar level is low for a long time, the patient can suffer from very serious diseases such as kidney failure, loss of eyesight, heart attack.

For people with type-1 diabetes, tracking their blood sugar levels every day can be a daunting task, says Dr Elizabeth Robertson, head of research at Diabetes UK.
