The Election Commission has released the list of final voters in Telangana and AP. According to the details disclosed by the EC, the total number of voters in Telangana state has reached 2,99,92,941. There are 2,740 NRI voters and 15,282 service voters.
It is stated in the list that there are 2,78,650 youth between 18 and 19 years of age who got the right to vote for the first time. According to the final list of voters, the number of voters in Hyderabad district has reached 42,15,456. The number of voters in Rangareddy district has reached 31,08,068.
Medchal -Malkajgiri district has 25,24,951 voters. According to the Election Commission, there are 6,44,072 voters in Serilingampally constituency. Bhadrachalam was the constituency with the lowest number of voters with 1,42,813 voters.
Every year after the revision of the electoral roll, the Central Election Commission publishes the electoral roll in the month of January. As part of that, the Chief Election Commissioner of the state released the list of voters on Thursday.
In Andhra Pradesh, as on 5th January 2023, the total number of voters in AP has reached 3,99,84,868. There are 2,02,19,104 female voters and 2,01,32,271 male voters.
The Election Commission said that there are 68,182 service voters in the state. The Chief Electoral Officer Mukesh Kumar Meena released the final list of voters in AP on Thursday.
The Chief Electoral Officer revealed that the number of voters has increased by 1,30,728 after inclusion of deletions compared to the November draft list.
